Weekly Bible Verse:
Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
John 4:13-14
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
“But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength…”
It’s valentine weekend! Many have given and received cards, gifts, flowers and exchanged sweet words in the name of love. It is wonderful to have a special someone in your life that cares deeply for you, one on which you can depend and trust. Too many times though our love is short-lived. We may speak those three little words to another, just to have our hearts broken when they do not feel the same way. Sometimes what we call love can not stand the test of time, sometimes it is just emotions.
…we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
“I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palm of my hands;”
