What have we entrusted to the Lord? Our homes, our lives, our family, our future, our eternity? We cannot always trust the “securities” of this world. Banks fail, companies go broke, pensions are lost, and relationships fall apart. But, whatever we have dedicated to God is safe.
We are told in Hebrews 10:23, “hold on to to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.” God is faithful! We must be faithful too and believe that all that we have given to God is protected and in His mighty hands.
So, what should we entrust to God? Everything! Our children, our lives, our future and especially our salvation. Troubles will still come, but knowing that God is guarding all that is precious is comforting. Knowing that He keeps all that has been dedicated to Him and will not let it go gives us peace and knowing that our eternity is secure with Him brings us joy and causes us to praise and worship this great God!
When the devil starts to shoot his “fiery darts” of doubt and discouragement at us, when he tries to tear our families apart, when he tries to destroy our faith and take away our hope, we can stand firm in the promise that God is mightier! We can know without a doubt, that God is guarding us until the day we are with Him forever.
