What a comfort and encouragement it is to know that the Lord is always with us. Friends may forsake us, family may turn their backs on us, the world may shun us, but the Lord never turns away from those that love Him and seek to do His will.
Hard times may come, difficult situations may arise, but as long as we are grounded in the Lord, He will help us through. His love and comfort can fill the void after a loss of a loved one. He can give us strength and peace of mind when we receive a bad medical report. God can give us discernment and wisdom when tough decisions need to be made. God will never leave us alone to fight any battle we may face.
All God asks of us is to accept the salvation He offers through Jesus Christ. God asks us to trust His love for us and try to follow Him in all we do. When we do our part, then we can be assured that God is forever with us, sticking “closer than a brother” Proverbs 18:24.
