East Point CP Church sincerely wishes each of you a happy Mother’s Day. We are thankful for Christian mothers every where and for the influence they have had and are having on society today.
Proverbs 31 is probably one of the most read and familiar scriptures about women. It begins with quotes from a mother to her son, the king. Her words of wisdom are spoken out of love and from a desire for her offspring to live a Godly life.
Beginning in verse 10 to the end of the chapter we are given a look at what a woman of God should be like. She is loving, diligent, hardworking, trustworthy and kind. She is well respected by the community and her husband and children. She is wise and faithful.
Today we are thankful for those Christian moms that strive to teach their children right from wrong. Keep walking the path with God, stay diligent and faithful, keep setting that example of a woman of God. Your love for Christ shines through in all you do and you are making a very important difference in the world.
