“Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name.”
Psalm 80:18
The word revival can mean many things such as remake, renew, reenergize, or rejuvenate. When someone stops breathing, measures are taken to restart their breaths, thus reviving them. When an out of date practice from the past is restarted, we say it has been revived. We revive wilting plants by giving them water and sunshine and other nutrients they may need.
Christians are no different in our walk with Christ. We too need to be revived, renewed, reenergized, rejuvenated. Tonight through Wednesday evening, revival services will be held at East Point Cumberland Presbyterian Church. You are invited to come join us as we hear the Word of God preached, and as we sing praises and worship together.
Please join us as we pray that God will move in a mighty way to remake lives that are lost and without Him. We pray, too, that Christians will be reenergized and rejuvenated to be more faithful in our walk with God and we pray that a great revival will begin that will reach far beyond our church building to people everywhere.
Service times and speakers are as follows:
Sunday 5:00 p.m. — Rev. Phil Nickles
Monday 6:00 p.m. — Rev. Rodger Pierce
Tuesday 6:00 p.m. Rev. Kevin Jenkins
Wednesday 6:00 p.m. Alex Smith
You may also join us by going to Phillip Nickles Facebook page to view a live stream of each service.
May God richly bless each of you and may we all be truly REVIVED!
