“Praise the Lord.
Praise God in His sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.
Praise him for his mighty acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre,
praise him with tambourine and dancing. Praise him with the strings and flute,
praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord.”
Psalm 150:1-6
When is it the right time to praise the Lord and where is it appropriate to show this worship? According to this great psalm anytime and all the time is when we should be offering up praise to our Lord! Whether we are in a church setting with fellow believers or alone, we can praise Him. We can praise Him for His goodness and His might. We can praise Him loudly like trumpets or cymbals, and we can praise Him softly like a flute or stringed instrument; and, we can let our whole being get caught up in the joy of worship!
Thanks be to God we do not have to wait for a special time to worship and exalt our Lord. God hears us anytime and every time.
“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!”
