Welcome to “In His Praise!”
Listening to the news and paying attention to current events in today’s world can be somewhat unsettling, to say the least. It would be easy for the devil to get a foothold in our lives and cause fear and panic to be in control.
But, as Christians, we can be comforted and encouraged by these words from Jesus found in John 17:15, “My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.” Hallelujah! Jesus has already prayed for us and asked God to protect us. What a comfort! What a wonderful Savior!
More reassurance is found in Paul’s writing to the Thessalonians. “But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one,” 2 Thessalonians 3:3.
Praise God! We have hope and can live confidently that we are under the care and protection of the Almighty! What of earth can harm us?
