A new year is on the way! 2025 will arrive in just a few days! Maybe you are looking for a new beginning with 2025. You may be making changes for a new lifestyle, a new home, or a new job. Some are making New Year’s resolutions about things they want to do differently.
Most of us strive to improve ourselves and become better people. There is nothing wrong with this, but as Proverbs 16:9 reminds us, we must remember to always let God lead us. After all, He tells us in Jeremiah 29:11 that He has plans for us. Plans for a good future, plans to help us.
So before we go making any promises to ourselves or to others for the New Year, let’s talk it over with God. He has the BEST plan for us and He will never steer us in the wrong direction.
