Happy Grandparents’ Day!
It is such a blessing have grandchildren! Few grandparents would disagree. We love those little sweethearts and enjoy the time we spend with them. We try to create memories with them that will last a lifetime. We hope we are impacting a new generation in a positive way.
Psalm 145:4 instructs us in the best way to influence future generations, that is to talk to them about God. We can share about God’s love for them, read a Bible story and talk to them about it, and pray with them and for them. We need to make sure that our faith and love for God is reflected in our daily walk too. The children will see it and God will use the seeds that are planted to influence the next generation in a mighty way!
Grandparents
Grandparents bestow upon their grandchildren
the strength and wisdom that time and experience have given them.
Grandchildren bless their grandparents with youthful vitality and innocence that helps them stay young at heart forever.
Together they create a chain of love linking the past with the future.
The chain my lengthen, but it will never end.
