In His Praise — November 8, 2020

Welcome to “In His Praise!”

It has been said that with great privilege comes great responsibility. We, as children of God, have the great privilege (blessing) of Jesus being our high priest. He intercedes, advocates and mediates for us (Hebrews 7:25, John 2:1 and 1 Timothy 2:5.) This is a great blessing, giving us the privilege and assurance that our prayers are heard by God Himself.

Because we are so blessed, we too have a responsibility to intercede for others. When we pray we should alway remember to lift up the lost, those in need and even those that do not realize they need God. Our intercessory prayers are important and Jesus hears and presents them to the Father. We may never know how our simple requests and concerns may touch someone else’s life. The Bible tells us in James 5:16b, “The prayer of the righteous man is powerful and effective”.

There are souls to be saved and lives to be changed for God and the results may be just a prayer away.
