Welcome to “In His Praise!”
There is a children’s song by William A. Kramer that goes like this:
“In our work
And in our play,
God is with us everyday.
Therefore I shall never fear
For our loving God is near.”
There is a lot of good news in this simple lyric. And it’s not just for the young. This little song reminds us that no matter where we are and no matter what we are doing God is always close by. He never leaves us, he always loves us and we have nothing to fear when He is near.
Hebrews 13:6 says we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”
Romans 8:38-39 reassures us like this: “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
So when life gets scary and your confidence is shaken hold tight to these words. God will not leave you; He will hold your hand and see you through.
